Turn away a real kid
The house gets egged
You hear the splats, then laughter running off down the street. Nobody else comes to the door until you take a bucket out into the dark and scrub every egg off.
It's Halloween night. You're house-sitting alone in a stranger's house, and the doorbell won't stop. Most of the visitors are kids in costumes. Some of them are something else.

The owners are out for the night and you're watching their place. It's cozy inside. There's a jigsaw puzzle on the dining table, a bowl of candy by the door and pumpkins on the porch.
All you have to do is hand out candy until midnight. Then the doorbell rings.

The bell rings, or a fist hits the door. Leave it and the knocking gets louder.
Someone is on the porch with a bag held out. They say the words.
Hand some over, or say you're out. There's no third option, and the bowl runs low.
Most visitors say thanks and walk off. Some of them don't leave.
Most of them are kids. Some of them are not. Point at a visitor to open the door, or tap one on your phone.

An email on launch day with the store links. We might send one heads-up before that. We don't share your address with anyone, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
That's the plan. The game plays it straight, with no gags and no winking at the camera. Expect jump scares, things in the dark yard and visitors you can't read. If Hereditary, The Grudge or Outlast got to you, this one is for you.
No. Halloween 2026 is a single-player game. You're alone in the house. That's the point.
We'll announce the price when the store pages go up. Waitlist members hear first.
Unreal Engine 5. Halloween 2026 is an independent game.
